Your Opinions?

Today I just wanted to focus on you, the reader, and how I can make this blog more interesting for you. Of course I am going to stay true to myself in my postings, but I also want to have others reading what I write! Is there anything you can think of that you would like to:
  • see me post about
  • suggestions for improvement
  • changes in pictures I take

Any comments? :)

  1. I think your blog is coming along quite nicely (as if I have a whole lot of authority- I only started my blog last month!!) I am slowly but surely emassing some really nice thrift store finds for my own closet- I love the way you mix and match and turn "old lady shirts" into something more trendy!
This isn't for everyone, but I wouldn't mind seeing more posts about your life in general- what you do for fun, hobbies, etc. I always think its fun to see what people in other parts of the country are up to. Also loved your post about the China dishes- keep the thrift store "junk" coming :)

  2. Thank you so much! I honestly hadn't thought much about posting about other things I like to do and what's going on in my life because I wasn't sure the world would be that interested, but I suppose I could incorporate some of that. Thanks for the comment!

  3. I'm 55 years old and have been shopping in second hand stores since I was about 5; my Mom took me to Morgan Memorial in Boston (which I think was the origin of Goodwill) and rummage sales. My wedding dress (worn in 1984)cost $4.99 at a Goodwill. (Honeymoon cruise: all the gowns I wore to fancy dinners on board were from GW, too.) I would like you to write about what you buy and where you wear it or what happens to it. I have a rule: when I buy things at GW or Savers, I have to take some things out of my closet and donate them. Six things bought, means six things out! One year, I wore a different outfit to work every day from August to April and on April Fools Day I repeated the dress from the first day... fun!

  4. Wow, that is so inspiring! I never thought about my clothes that I wear from Goodwill as having a story, but now that you mention it, they really do! Not only from me, but from their previous owners. Thanks for the idea!
